Vultures, A Sitcom Coming to an End…
… Oh, I’m sorry, “What’s Vultures”, you say? Well, my friends from Kilkenny, if you haven’t yet heard of our local detective friends, Vultures PI, then it would be wise of you to CLICK THIS LINK NOW!
Vultures is a Kilkenny-based sitcom, about three private detectives (or dicks, if you will) running their own detective agency. And is it good? Oh yes. Oh yes it is.
The show is the brainchild of locals, John Morton and Paddy Dunne, and we first saw it burst onto the world of interwebs in late 2007 / early 2008, with Episode 1: The Kris Kringle Konundrum, a simple and fun story of a mix up at Christmas time. However, over the last year and a half, Vultures has attracted a fairly large fan base in Kilkenny, as the episodes got better and more intricate and the plot became thicker.
And now, in September 2009, we see the end of the sitcom on the horizon, with episode 6 of 7 just released online, and episode 7 having been seen by some lucky people last Saturday night.
The latest episode, titled Attack of the Pinkertons, has just aired over at the Vultures website, and episode 7 (The Long Goodbye) is scheduled to go online next Sunday. Attack of the Pinkertons, directed by Ross Costigan, sets the sitcom up for a huge ending, and contains some genius moments, which should keep you laughing, crying, and on the edge of your seat for the entire 38 minutes.
So for you who haven’t been introduced to the show, it’s not too late! Start watching the show here with Episode 1 or watch it on the player below. If you’re interested, keep watching. If it’s not your cup of tea, fuck it, keep watching anyway!
Until my next post, stay classy, Kilkenny.
